This year’s team will have their work cut out for them. Four out of the five players returning from last season’s 25-7 team are starters and will be expected to deliver the same caliber of play as last year. Anthony Young and Stefon Carson will be looked upon to do most of the scoring this year, while Derrell Conner will lead the team from the point guard position. Gerald Campbell is expected to continue this high caliber from last season, where he averaged a double-double in scoring and rebounding while Jared Holmes will bring passion and a major defensive presence to the court. The freshmen—all impact players—are Joe Lightfoot III, Marcus Jackson, Ethan Anderson, Devin Patton, Deangelo Hailey, Jordan Agamy, Dominque Warnsley and Justin Reid.
