On Oct. 25, 2005, all full-time faculty, staff and administrators of KCC met to discuss the school's progress toward improvement.
Information presented in preparation included:
In-service Quality Quiz (Aug 2005), Invitation, Cover memo, Agenda, What we learned (strengths and weaknesses) and an Action Projects handout
The meeting's presentation highlighted the information sent as preparation documents as well as informed on next steps. Information gathered included:
Systems Portfolio reflections, AQIP Action Project reflections, and opinions regarding future project possibilities for the KCC.
The AQIP Leadership Team analyzed the above documents to determine the attendees' highest institutional priorities. Five major areas/themes are shown in the analyzed results: communication, helping students/assessment, valuing people, continuing improvements and enrollment/retention.
Each theme had initiatives identified Oct. 25. Though the analyzed results include some consolidation, all comments from Oct. 25 were sent to the administrative council. The five themes and initiatives were presented for feedback in February 2006 as a voting wall.
Discussions October 25 (around Systems Portfolio strengths/weaknesses), analysis of the portfolio and discussion results and February feedback of the analysis, detailed institutional priorities for FY2007 were recommended and approved by the Board of Directors.
