Last year, employees gave $18,239.05 to the campaign to assist students through initiatives including
- Student Success & Leadership
- Program Excellence
- College Improvement
- Emerging Needs
In addition, employees were able to “write in” other uses for their funds that were not already covered by the KCC budget.
The charted results show that the largest area supported by KCC employees was “Emerging Needs”, which means faculty and staff entrusted the college and foundation with making spending decisions as student needs arose.
Employee wishes also clearly aligned with strategic initiatives for the college in supporting student success and program excellence.
The final key area identified by employees for their support was college improvement.
Currently, faculty and staff representatives serving on the employee giving committee are collaborating on the best way to use 2012-13 employee support in these various giving areas.
