University of Illinois Global Campus

Kankakee Community College has partnered with the University of Illinois Global Campus to offer two new online bachelor’s degree completion programs.

Through the partnership, students can complete—entirely online—either a bachelor of business administration or a bachelor of science in nursing.

KCC’s Global Support Center

Participating students receive support services from both schools, including advisement, bookstore and library access. Participants are also able to access KCC’s Global Support Center, which provides advising, tutoring, and technology assistance for Global Campus students on the KCC campus. Global Campus students also may complete their needed general education requirements at KCC.

University of Illinois Bachelor of Business Administration program

To gain admission to the bachelor of business administration degree completion program, students must have completed at least 60 hours of college-level credit.

The bachelor of business administration degree completion program is aimed at working professionals who are looking to complete a bachelor's degree to advance in their careers in management, finance, accounting, marketing, and other business-related fields.

A B.B.A. also is a first step on the path toward an M.B.A. or other graduate degree. Offered in partnership with the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the program is one of only a handful of online B.B.A. programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

University of Illinois Bachelor of Science in Nursing

To gain admission to the bachelor’s degree in nursing program, students are required to have completed an associate’s degree in nursing.

The program is designed for registered nurses wishing to complete their bachelor's degrees and build a foundation for leadership in one of the fastest growing professions in the U.S. The B.S.N. program has no residency requirement, and practicum experiences have been designed to be completed in the student’s region.

The 30-credit-hour program can be completed in as few as 16 months. Each class is eight-weeks long. It is offered in partnership with the College of Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
