KCC hosted the first ever “Give a Little Bit” 5K for the United Way on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The event was a tremendous success!
A total of 157 participants finished, including 31 KCC employees. There were 27 additional people who made donations. In all, 184 people contributed to the event. More than $2,000 was raised for United Way of Kankakee County.
Thank you to everyone who participated, whether by running, walking, jogging, volunteering, taking part in pre- and post race set-up.

The overall fastest time was recorded by Dawn Allers, an employee of Catholic Charities, a United Way agency. The first male and female finishers among KCC employees were Mike O'Connor and Deborah Renville.
