The annual international Friendship Day celebration at KCC will be Wednesday, March 24 from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Country displays, presentations on different cultures and other information is scheduled for the event. Community members also are invited to attend and to participate. 

Country displays

KCC students, faculty and staff, as well as community members are invited to be part of the country displays at the event. The displays should be informative and educational. Those with a heritage or other connection to a country are invited to e-mail Elise Schultz, event co-chair, at eschultz@kcc.edu to register a country display. Please provide the country you would like to represent.

Scholarship contest

The 2010 International Friendship Day will include a scholarship contest. The top prize is a 3-credit hour class. Contest entries were due Feb. 15, 2010. Winner will be chosen by the audience on March 24.
