Kankakee Community College will revive the holiday classic "White Christmas" on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. in the KCC Auditorium.
Inspired by the 1954 film featuring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney, this revue will take you on a musical journey from a World War II performance for the troops, to the glamour of a Florida night club and finally, to the charm and simple beauty of a New England town. Complete with lavish costumes, this magical show celebrates the beauty of the holiday season.
Members of the “White Christmas” cast have performed professionally at the White House, Civic Opera House, and the Arizona Opera Company. The show has been a perennial favorite at the Woodstock Opera House, the Arcotte Theatre in St. Charles, and the Catillion in Palatine.
Ticket price is $10. The price includes a reception with the performers after the concert. Light refreshments will be served.
Early reservations are encouraged. Ticket sales begin Nov. 12 and will be available at the first floor Reception Desk at KCC. For tickets by mail, call (815) 802-8100.
