The department of Information Technology Services supports all computing on the KCC campus. Students have access to KCC's computing resources through a network of more than 800 computer workstations in more than 35 computer labs.
Network and e-mail accounts for all new credit-division students are created within 48 hours after registering. If you register on Friday, your account will be created by Tuesday of the following week. Current students will continue to use the account they have been using in previous semesters. Instructions for using your network and e-mail accounts are available online.
Students and staff who have a computer-related difficulty can visit the ITS Helpdesk in Room L364, phone (815) 802-8900 or e-mail helpdesk@kcc.edu. ITS personnel will provide assistance.
Services include:
- Support and maintenance of lab applications
- Support and maintenance of lab workstations, printers and other lab equipment
- Re-issuance of passwords
- Support and maintenance of adaptive equipment for students with special needs
