Joellen Vasquez is Administrative Assistant for the Athletics Department.
Joellen started working part-time at Kankakee Community College in 2001. She joined the Athletics Department full-time in August 2008. She works directly with the Athletic Director and offers support to the six coaches, the Sports Information Director, the Fitness Center Director and the Division Chair for Physical Education.
Joellen lives in the Kankakee area where she has resided for the past 21 years.

Candice Brackett
 Candice Brackett, LAT, ATC, head athletic trainer at KCC, is a 2001 graduate of Aurora East High School. She has an associate degree from Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Before leaving NIU, Brackett served as an intern athletic training student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, working with men’s athletics. She continued her education at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, completing a master’s degree in athletic training.
Throughout her athletic training career, Brackett has worked at three high schools, two in northern Illinois and one in the southern Indiana. She served as a student representative for the state of Illinois from the Great Lakes Athletic Trainer’s Association from 2005-2007. She is still an active member in GLATA, and also is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and the Illinois Athletic Training Association.
