Boring... No time... Those were my excuses for never getting into a regulated exercise routine.
Though I had been a member of the KCC Fitness Center for nearly 10 years, it was only after retiring 5 years ago, that I knew I needed to do something. I was dealing with osteoarthritis and strength was a HUGE issue. I needed to work through my physical problems and start to get healthy and fit.
It was my good fortune that Yvonne Mills took an interest in helping me reach that goal. She introduced me to new free weight exercises that sparked my motivation and suddenly I was no longer bored and wanted to make time for exercising.
Last year, Yvonne started personal training. I signed up immediately. I have lost inches, gained muscle mass and become much stronger with LESS aches and pain. I am now also in the low impact aerobic class which is improving my stamina.
I realized you are never too old, too stiff or too heavy to get back into shape. Yvonne has the unique talent of knowing what will work best for you. She encourages and never judges and individually works with you to help you become the best version of yourself.
