Region IV Hall of Fame coach Dennis Clark, was busy in the off season searching for new players to fill his 2010-2011 roster. Clark’s recruiting has landed him eight new players, five from Illinois and two from Indiana. His 2010-11 signees include:

- Sarah Garrison Chatham-Glenwood/Pitcher
- Allie Staggs Gibson-Southern, Ind/Infield
- Alli Lewis South Bend Riley H.S., Ind./Infield/Outfield
- Olivia Roback Elk Grove/Shortstop
- Stephanie Roan St. Charles East/Outfield
- Danielle Burge Tremont H.S./Catcher/Outfield
- Kelsey Gass Rantoul H.S./Outfield/Infield
- Cyndi Becker Prospect H.S./2B/Outfield
“I am really excited to coach this group. They are good athletes who come from winning programs and knows what it takes to be good,” Clark said. “I expect all 8 players to be major contributors to our success the next two years.”
In 27 years under Coach Clark’s command the Cavaliers have produced 889 victories and have an overall record of 889-294. His teams have produced 29 NJCAA All Americans and 15 NJCAA Academic All Americans. Clark is fourth among active NJCAA fast pitch softball coaches.
The 2009-10 lady Cavs will kick off their season at Rend Lake College in Ina, IL.
