A hole-in-one could win a Cavalier Club Golf Outing participant a new car on Aug. 12.
The 26th annual outing will be Thursday, Aug. 12, 2009 at the Kankakee Elks Golf Club in St. Anne.
Hove Buick Nissan of Bradley will give away a new car to the first golfer at the event who hits a hole-in-one at a par 3 hole pre-selected by the course pro.
Registration for the outing is now being accepted. The scramble-style golf event begins with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. It will conclude with dinner and auction.
The cost is $100 per golfer and includes lunch, dinner, drinks, cart and greens fees. For dinner only the cost is $30 and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
The Cavalier Club promotes and supports Kankakee Community College athletic programs and encourages community involvement. The outing will raise funds to support all KCC athletic programs.
Kankakee Elks Golf Club is located at 2283 Bittersweet Drive in St. Anne.
