Denita Phelps has signed a letter of intent and will play basketball for NAIA Olivet Nazarene University for the 2010-11 season.
Phelps helped the Cavaliers to a fourth-place finish at this year's NJCAA Division II women's basketball national tournament and, despite not recording all the big statistics, Phelps definitely made her presence felt on the team.
After missing most of her initial sophomore year with a ruptured Achilles' tendon, Phelps was a medical red shirt, and came back to average 5.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game.
