Soccer Assistant Coaches

Jose Smith
Coach Smith is in his first year as assistant coach of the KCC men’s soccer team. Smith played soccer for Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School. Before continuing his education and soccer career at Kankakee Community College. Coach Smith works closely with area youth soccer including Dynamo Soccer, Central Cosmos Soccer and the BBPD soccer program. He has an Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) National D coaching license and is part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Coach Smith attends Governors State University, majoring in elementary education.

Roque Cutuli
Coach Cutuli is in his first year as a KCC assistant soccer coach. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University and a master's degree from the University of Buenos Aires in sports psychology. He also has a national diploma (1999) from the Argentina National Association of Soccer Coaches. Coach Cutuli spent six years at the International Sports Group as a coaching coordinator, a year on the soccer coaching staff at Pennsylvania State University and recently the director of coaching education at the Argentina Soccer and Coaching Academy in Argentina. He also was a volunteer coach for the 14, 16 and 18-year-old children at the City of Buenos Aires State Schools. He possesses an enthusiasm and work ethic that is a model and inspiration to the players of this developing program. Cutuli resides in Kankakee with his wife and two children.
