The 2017 campaign will find the Cavaliers facing the toughest schedule in program history. But the coaches and players are confident they are equal to the task.

"We continue to improve the quality of our local recruits with very experienced players coming from some of the top club teams from around Chicago," said Head Coach Mike Barclay. In addition, six players from last year's team achieved national recognition as Academic All Americans.

The team is focused on getting out of the gates quickly and keeping intensity throughout the season. "We have the deepest bench in my tenure here and I am excited to watch these young men push each other during the season for the starting spots" said Barclay.

The team boasts local players from top high school soccer programs, Bishop McNamara Catholic, Peotone, Manteno, Kankakee, Beecher and Wilmington schools; plus international players from South Korea and Argentina.

The Cavaliers play all home matches on the KCC campus. To acquire more information about KCC's soccer program, please phone the coach at 815-263-7131 or email
