Personal / Professional Online Courses

Online courses provide the ultimate in convenience for students. You choose when you look at lessons, you learn at your own pace. Here are the details:

  • Each online course runs for six weeks and consists of 12 lessons.
  • All materials will be made available over the World Wide Web.
  • Participants read their lessons and ask questions of their instructor via e-mail.
  • The first lesson will be released at precisely 12:01 a.m. on the course start date. All subsequent lessons, quizzes, assignments, exams and other course material will be made available to students at precisely 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday and Fridays.
  • To enroll, you need access to a computer with Internet access, an e-mail address and a web browser. Participants must give their e-mail address at the time of registration.
  • Visit www.ed2go.com/kankakeecc for requirements, demonstrations and a list of courses available.

For more information about these courses, phone Cathy Collings at (815) 802-8206 or e-mail ccollings@kcc.edu.

Once registered for an online course, participants will be directed via e-mail to an online orientation to familiarize themselves with the course delivery. After completing the orientation, you will be able to access the lessons as they are posted on the web site.
