The Franklin University bachelor's degree completion program has 12 bachelor's degrees for KCC graduates. They are accounting, business management, computer science, digital communication, health care management, human resource management, information technology, management, management information sciences, marketing, public safety management and applied management. A 17-month online master's in business administration program also is available.

Students in the program receive support services from both schools, including advisement, bookstore and library access. For online classes, assignments are posted on the Internet and turned in to professors via e-mail; class discussions are held in virtual chat rooms and on electronic bulletin boards.

Program highlights:

• Eliminates time and travel constraints that are characteristic of a traditional on-campus program.
• Three-fourths of the degree is completed at KCC's affordable tuition rate.
• Classes are offered in three-, six-, 12- and 15-week formats.
• Multiple start-dates are offered.

The university annually serves nearly 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students representing a vast range of occupations and professions. All of these individuals have two things in common: they want to acquire practical tools which they can put to immediate use, no matter where in the real world their career paths are taking them; and they seek an education that will prepare them for lifelong learning and for continued growth and success in a future characterized by uncertainty and rapid change.

The Community College Alliance (CCA) Program was established in 1998 as an outgrowth of Franklin University's mission to serve working adults with an accessible, quality education. The CCA Program is an online bachelor's degree completion program offered in partnership with two-year institutions. Currently, more than 210 institutions across the U.S. have partnered with Franklin University through the Program.

How it works

• First, earn an associate degree (or at least 60 semester credit hours) from a community college.
• Then, complete additional preparatory courses at your community college.
• At the same time, you can earn your degree from Franklin by taking online courses to complete the minimum 40 hours for each major.

Franklin University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.
