Kankakee Community College's Education and Employment Center is a one-stop location serving adult learners, job seekers and businesses. All programs and services are offered at no cost to qualified individuals.
Services offered at the center:
For adult learners:
- Adult basic education classes
- GED preparation courses
- Open entry programs
- Individual and group instruction
- Morning, afternoon, and evening classes offered
For job seekers:
- Skills assessment
- Dislocated worker assistance
- Career counseling and coaching
- Skills training - classroom and on-the-job
- Job search and placement services
For businesses:
- Referrals of qualified candidates
- Job orders and screening
- Interviewing and meeting space
- Labor market information
- National Retail Federation training
