KCC scholarship information
For full consideration, the application deadline for 2008-09 Foundation scholarships is March 14, 2008. However, some individual scholarships may have another deadline; check scholarship descriptions carefully.
Printed scholarship books and applications are available in the KCC Office of Financial Aid and from area high school counselors. Applicants must reside in the KCC district unless otherwise specified.

Scholarship awards normally will be divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters unless otherwise specified. In most cases, students who qualify for more than one Foundation scholarship (unless a state scholar or book scholarship winner) will be awarded only the one with the greatest value. Alternates will be selected for awards in the event of duplicate selections.
The KCC Foundation reserves the right to suspend awarding any scholarship if the quality of the applications is deemed insufficient. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee that an applicant will receive an award. Each award committee will recommend the recipient(s) to the Foundation Board.
