I was a union, residential plumber/lead-man for Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 501 (Illinois) for over 13 years until a job-site accident in December, 2004 ended my plumbing career.
After many surgeries and several years of rehabilitation, I enrolled in a few classes at Kankakee Community College in the fall 2007 semester. I realized my path was to further my college education, be a stay-at-home father to my children, and continue to recover from my injuries.
I enrolled in the BBA program at Olivet Nazarene University in 2010 and graduated cum-laude in May, 2012. Immediately after graduating, I enrolled in the MBA program at Olivet Nazarene University and will complete the program in August, 2014.
On February 12, 2013, I was hired by Kankakee Community College as the Coordinator of Manufacturing Training to coordinate and assist in the development of the new Manufacturing Technology program.
