My teaching philosophy is pretty simple. I show the enthusiasm I feel for the topics I teach in lecture and in my dealing with students. My method for living this philosophy is hopefully apparent in my lectures, where I try to engage students with practical, real-world lectures that are educational and interesting. I believe this leads to an atmosphere where camaraderie and teamwork between students is very natural.
I teach because I believe it is my responsibility to give back to the community where I was raised. I envision my role at KCC as a helping hand for students. If a student's goal is to learn from me what they can about a given topic, then it is my goal to teach them everything I can with the time we have together.
