Tie-breaking rules

If a choice must be made among a number of applicants with the same test scores, selection for admission will be made on the basis of

  • completion of the greatest number of non-MASG, -MEDT, -PMED, -PHTA, -PNUR, -RESP, -RNUR, or -XRAY courses in the curriculum then,
  • the highest cumulative GPA (KCC + current district's community college if applicable.) If you have earned fewer than 12 semester hours of college credit coursework at KCC (and current district's community college if applicable), your cumulative GPA will be considered to be zero (0) for tie-breaking purposes.
