Occupational Programs

KCC's occupational programs in the business, health and technology areas offer students educational and technological opportunities in a wide variety of fields. The programs provide career preparation, job retraining, and skills upgrading. Occupational program types are Associate in Applied Science degrees, advanced certificates and certificates.

Associate in Applied Science degree

 Requires 60-71 credit hours (depending on the program)

  • Minimum of 15 credit hours of general education courses
  • The number of remaining credit hours varies.

Advanced certificate

Requires 30-50 credit hours (depending on the program)

Certificate

Requires 2-29 credit hours

Degrees

Due to curriculum revisions, state agency or accrediting agency changes, or other factors beyond the college's control, the curricula may be modified before changes can be communicated in writing. Check with the Department of Student Services for the most current curriculum outlines.

Exceptions to all certificate and degree requirements must be approved by petitioning the Graduate Review Committee.
