A book Charting Your Success with COMPASS is available in KCC's Learning Resource Center.

We have a computer in Student Services, Room D222 set up with the above websites as well.

Use the Learning Lab

Room L329 at KCC offers free computerized English/writing, reading and math skills reviews. Eight computer stations are available. Each has an instruction binder for use with the programs. You do not have to be a current student to use these services for placement test preparation. Learning Lab hours are 9 a.m - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Fridays. To take the COMPASS test

COMPASS testing is offered at KCC during Testing Center hours. No appointment is necessary. If you have questions, phone 815-802-8530. A slip from an advisor in Student Services and a photo ID is required. Allow 2 1/2 hours to complete COMPASS.
