GED

Success is just clicks awayTM. A new GED program was launched on Jan. 2. The overhaul better prepares adults without a high school diploma for higher education and the workforce. The 2014 GED program uses technology to help students prepare for, pass the test and move on to better jobs with better wages.

Having a GED provides many opportunities—especially in the job market—for persons who did not graduate from high school. It also is a first step toward pursuing higher education opportunities.

KCC has a comprehensive range of instruction and services to help students succeed on the 2014 GED test!  All GED classes are offered at no cost to the public  New class sessions begin every eight weeks at several convenient locations.  Students study at their own pace. Helpful and friendly teachers assist students. Program orientations are offered regularly.

KCC also serves as an approved testing center for the computer-based GED® test.
