The Paraprofessional Educator curriculum is designed to meet guidelines set forth in the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. The degree program offers students a wide range of educational experiences and prepares them to assist classroom teachers at all grade levels from kindergarten through high school. KCC also offers a Child Development-Education Option program. Students should see the Child Development Coordinator, Kari Livesey, to determine which program best suits their needs. This degree typically is not designed for transfer.
