College Prep
|
|
College preparatory classes are offered for students who need to improve their academic skills to succeed in college studies.
Areas of study include math, reading, study skills and writing.
College preparatory classes are helpful for high school graduates preparing to enter college, college students who need to brush up on skills and older students returning to college after being away from school for an extended period.
If the first number of a course is 0, 3, 4 or 5, the course will be recorded on the students transcript, but credits for these courses do not apply to degrees or certificates and do not affect students' grade point averages. Students on academic suspension can take college preparatory classes.
Financial aid can be applied to the cost of these courses.
