Learn More about a career in Engineering Science

Engineering Science - ENGR.AES.B09

The Engineering Science transfer curriculum is intended for students planning a career in an engineering field. In general, the first year of study is common to all fields. The second year involves some divergence of course work, particularly in the fields of electrical and chemical engineering, but a high degree of similarity remains among courses in other engineering fields. Students who earn the Engineering Science associate degree may choose one of the following specific fields of engineering at a senior institution: aeronautical,
astronautical, ceramic, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, industrial, mechanical, and metallurgical engineering. Students enrolling in this curriculum are urged to meet with an academic adviser each semester to review course selections and transfer plans.
