Medical Laboratory Technology Online Courses

Online delivery:

Classes offered online or in an online hybrid format.

"On-campus" time required for online courses:

All classes require a face-to-face orientation on the first day of class and at another time during the semester for the presentation of a research project. "Hybrid" online students are required to come on campus every other week for a hands-on laboratory component or to complete the laboratory component at a local cooperating/affiliated hospital laboratory, if available.

Enrollment process:

There is an application process to enroll in the MLT program. Students cannot take program courses until they are accepted into the program.

Retraining or refresher course options:

Yes. To enroll in a course for review, retraining or personal advancement the program director must sign off and waive eligibility requirements for the course. Courses can be taken for credit or audit purposes.
