Pick up your cap and gown on Wednesday, April 11, 4-6 p.m. or Thursday, April 12, noon - 6 p.m. in Room L20B. A representative from Oak Hall will be there to distribute them. There is no fee for your cap and gown.
If you petitioned late, pick up your cap and gown between Monday, April 16 and Wednesday, May 9 at the first floor reception desk. If you have questions, call Sharon Hoogstraat, 815-802-8509.
To have your gown looking its best for commencement, place it on a hanger to allow the folds to fall out, preferably in a high-humidity area. If you wish to press your gown, turn it inside out and press with a warm, not hot, iron. Steaming is also an option.
Wristbands are required for all guests sitting in the gymnasium. You will receive five wristbands when you pick up your cap and gown.
Guests who are not seated in the gymnasium may watch the ceremony on a live videocast in the auditorium (Room L110), the Iroquois Room (Room D152) or the Workforce Development Center Conference Hall (Room D140).
