Congratulations to those of you who will graduate at KCC's Commencement on Saturday, May 12, 2012. The KCC board of trustees, faculty and staff proudly recognize the achievements of KCC's graduates, and also acknowledge parents, spouses, and friends for their support.

Kankakee Community College Main Campus
Graduates - Arrive at the lower level of the Learning Resource Center (library), 8:30-9 a.m.
Faculty and Administrators -Arrive at lower level of College Center by 9:30 a.m.
Guests - Doors to the gymnasium open at 8:30 a.m. for guests needing assistance and 9 a.m. for general seating. Doors will close at 10 a.m. Guests arriving at 10 a.m. or later will be directed to the Auditorium, Iroquois Room or Conference Hall where the ceremony will be videocast live.
Approximately 2,000 people attend graduation. With that in mind, graduates are asked to bring no more than five guests each. The ceremony will last about an hour.
Strollers may be parked in the Activities Building lobby, but are not permitted in the gymnasium. Also, guests are kindly asked not to bring balloons and other large celebratory items that could obstruct the view of others.

A reception follows the ceremony in the College Center. Join us for refreshments!
Live WKCC Broadcast
If you can't attend, listen to KCC’s commencement ceremony on WKCC 91.1 FM or via webcast. The broadcast begins at 10 a.m.
Diplomas
Graduates will receive a diploma folder as they cross the platform, but the actual diplomas will not be presented at the Commencement Ceremony. The diplomas will be mailed to the graduates houses after final grades are processed. This is common practice at most colleges and universities.
Graduation Announcements
Graduation announcements are for sale at the Information Desk in the KCC Atrium. Individual announcements are 50 cents each, or a group of ten is $5.
Directions/Maps/Parking
If you're from out of town, review the directions to KCC campus. Parking is allowed in any of the designated open parking lots. Handicapped parking is available in the first row.
