Graduation Checklist 

Start 3 months before graduation

• Be sure all of your transcripts from high school and other colleges are on file at KCC.
• Complete a petition to graduate.
• Meet with your advisor to review the petition and sign it.
• Submit the petition and pay the $20 graduation fee.
• Pay all outstanding fees and fines.

KCC will review your petition to ensure that all academic degree requirements are complete and financial obligations are paid. If they are, you will receive a graduation questionnaire to confirm your participation in the commencement ceremony on May 12, 2012.

• Return the graduation questionnaire.
• Pick up your cap and gown.
• Attend commencement on May 12, 2012!

You will be mailed your diploma to the address indicated on your petition approximately six weeks after the official date of graduation.
