KCC is one of the best buys in education. But we don't sacrifice quality to keep prices low. In fact, our College Credit Division class sizes are smaller than those of most four-year schools, and you are always taught by highly qualified faculty—not teaching assistants. Financial aid, including grants, loans, scholarships and student employment, also are available. To learn more about financial options, click on the Paying for College section above.
(All amounts are per credit hour effective spring 2007. Rates are subject to change without notice. Additional course fees apply to some courses.)

2 Senior citizens (60 years and older) residing within the college district will not be assessed any tuition for credit division courses provided sufficient tuition-paying students are enrolled in the class to cover the cost of offering it. Senior citizens also must pay any individual course fee required.
If a program is not offered in your home community college district but is available at KCC, your home community college district will pay the out-of-district resident portion of the tuition while you are enrolled in such a program.
You can file a Declaration of Intent (chargeback) with your local community college board to receive financial support for the out-of-resident tuition rate for KCC.
The chargeback application must be made at least 30 days before the beginning of the semester.
A special tuition arrangement is in place for students who live in the following community college districts: Illinois Valley Community College, Joliet Junior College, Kishwaukee College, Moraine Valley Community College, Morton College, Prairie State College, South Suburban College and Waubonsee Community College. If you live in one of the above districts, you will file a cooperative agreement form with your local board rather than a chargeback application and you will be assessed KCC's district resident tuition.
KCC reserves the right to change tuition and incidental fees without notice.
