Elise Schultz Elise Schultz earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish with an emphasis in secondary education from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and a master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages from the University of Toledo in Ohio. Schultz began as a full-time academic advisor at KCC in May 2008. 

Previously, Schultz taught English composition courses at KCC on a part-time basis for three years. Before moving to Illinois, Schultz taught English to international students at universities in Ohio and South Carolina, taught Spanish at the college and high school levels, and worked in a university office that coordinated international student services and promoted campus globalization. 

Schultz lives in Bourbonnais, with her husband, Warren. In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing, swimming, language learning, and travel—especially to warm seaside locations.

Susan LaMoreSusan LaMore has been KCC’s coordinator of the Transfer Center since the summer of 2006 and offers help to students with questions regarding transfer to a four-year college or university. Susan graduated from KCC with an associate in arts degree and transferred to Olivet Nazarene University, completing a bachelor of science in management. 

LaMore serves as one of the advisors for Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges. She is also the advisor to see for students who are interested in studying abroad while attending KCC.
