These FREE workshops will provide you with all the help you need to correctly fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).* We'll walk you through the process question by question. You'll leave the workshop with a financial aid form ready to mail or send via the Internet.

Bring all of the following documents which pertain to you, your spouse and/or your parents:

  • 2007 federal tax returns, W-2 forms and all Social Security Form SSA1099s
  • A listing of any other types of untaxed income or benefits received in 2007 - may include:
    • A document from you and/or your parent's case worker with the total amount of TANF received for 2007
    • The total amount of child support paid and/or received in 2007
    • The total amount of Federal Work Study received in 2007

* The financial aid information nights and workshops are geared towards parents and students of all income levels. The forms discussed are used at all two-year and four-year colleges and universities. Therefore, you are welcome to attend even if you or your child plans to attend a college other than KCC.
