Our office has moved to KCC’s North Extension Center at 450 N. Kinzie in Bradley. The hours are still Monday – Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Public transportation to our new office is available -- take the River Valley Metro-Northfield Square bus route.

Kankakee Workforce Services

Kankakee Workforce Services provides the most comprehensive employment assistance in this area to persons who have lost their jobs through plant closings or layoffs, low-income individuals working or not, and youth ages 18 to 21; the North Extension Center also provides programs and services for enhancing one's educational skills for better employment marketability. All programs and services are offered at no cost to qualified individuals.

The Workforce Investment Act and the Workforce Services Board has created a network that links not only the employer and the potential employee, but also a third very vital component—the workforce training provider.
