Eric Zeedyk
Assistant Baseball Coach
Eric Zeedyk will be in his second season as an assistant coach with the Cavaliers. He is a 1996 graduate of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, where he was a four year starter and letterman in baseball. After high school, Zeedyk played two seasons of college baseball, at John A. Logan College for one year and at KCC his sophomore season. As a Cavalier, he helped the team advance to the NJCAA World Series. After KCC, Zeedyk signed and played professional baseball for two seasons with the Cook County Cheetahs and one season with the Joliet Jackhammers.
Coach Zeedyk played for coaches such as Houston Astros NL 'Coach of the Year' Hal Lanier, Carlos May, Ron LaFloire, and former Chicago Cub Chico Walker. Zeedyk brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the Cavaliers and will work primarily with the hitters. Zeedyk resides in Bourbonnais with is wife, Amanda, and their two children Peyton, 4, and daughter Andie, 3 months.
