Personal/Professional courses

The Office of Corporate and Continuing Education offers a variety of courses that help area residents develop professionally and personally. Times and fees vary depending on the course. For a complete listing of courses, times, locations and costs, choose the class schedule link above.

Personal Interest Courses

Learning for the sake of learning can be great fun. Whether you want to learn a new hobby, develop effective writing skills, or learn investment strategies, the Office of Corporate and Continuing Education has a variety of personal interest courses to let you explore areas of interest in a short-term, non-degree format.

Professional Development

In many cases the professional development courses offered prepare participants for certification exams or are required to maintain professional licensing. KCC has formed several consortiums among area professionals to guide the creation of professional development programs.

KCC is an approved sponsor of continuing education for respiratory care technicians, nursing home administrators, licensed counselors and social workers, Illinois teachers, accountants, nurses and cosmetologists.
