The Fast Track option offers evening courses, flexible scheduling and open program entry dates. The courses are the same as those taken in a traditional degree. The unique format and closer associations with fellow students and teachers make the difference.
To meet the needs of adult learners, the Fast Track program offers
The courses are offered in three five-week sessions within each fall and spring semester. They meet two nights per week. The structure of the scheduling also often leads to natural student cohorts who support each other and collaborate outside of class. Please be aware that procrastination is not an option in a Fast Track Class. Due to the five-week format, attendance is required at all class sessions.
With the Fast Track schedule, if you need to "stop out" for personal or work related reasons, an entire semester is not lost. Students can choose to complete the program at a slower pace by taking just one course whenever it better meets their scheduling. Another option is to mix courses offered as part of the Fast Track program with other college offerings.
The Fast Track Degree program offers a strong foundation of business courses as well as general education courses traditionally required in bachelor's degree programs.
The Associate in Science degree requires 20 courses, a total of 64 credit hours.
Because the program's course schedules, descriptions and credit hours are subject to change, visit www.kcc.edu/fasttrack for the most current schedule.
Students enrolling in this curriculum are urged to meet with an academic adviser each semester to review course selections and transfer plans.
