Cost & Expenses

Here is how each type of training is priced:

Customized Corporate Training

Pricing is determined based on each company's specific needs. However, since KCC has access to several government funding sources for employee training, some programs can be offered at a reduced price. We are confident you will find KCC's prices to be attractive in comparison with private training sources.

For more information, contact Mary Posing, director of Corporate and Continuing Education at (815) 802-8202 or mposing@kcc.edu.

Corporate and Continuing Education Training

Prices are determined on a course-by course basis and are listed in the course descriptions. Variables which determine pricing include the number of hours in class, materials/equipment being used and textbooks required. In some cases, certification exams and are part of courses, and associated costs are included in the course fees.

For more information, contact Mary Posing, director of Corporate and Continuing Education at (815) 802-8202 or mposing@kcc.edu.

1 Persons residing in another Illinois community college district that does not offer a program avaiable at KCC should file a Declaration of Intent, see Chargeback program, with their local community college board. The application should be made at least 30 days before the beginning of the semester. If the application is approved by the local board, the student is entitled to partial support (non-resident fee) of tuition charges at KCC.

Residents of Benton, Lake and Newton counties in Indiana are charged the Illinois non-district resident rate for tuition rather than the out-of-state rate.

2 Senior citizens (60 years and older) residing within the college district will not be assessed any tuition for credit division courses provided sufficient tuition-paying students are enrolled in the class to cover the cost of offering it. Senior citizens also must pay any individual course fee required.

Chargeback program

If a program is not offered in your home community college district but is available at KCC, your home community college district will pay the out-of-district resident portion of the tuition while you are enrolled in such a program.

You can file a Declaration of Intent (chargeback) with your local community college board to receive financial support for the out-of-resident tuition by KCC.

The chargeback application must be made at least 30 days before the beginning of the semester.

A special tuition arrangement is in place for students who live in the following community college districts: Illinois Valley Community College, Joliet Junior College, Moraine Valley Community College, Morton College, Prairie State College and South Suburban College. If you live in one of the above districts, you will file a cooperative agreement form with your local board rather than a chargeback application and you will be assessed KCC's district resident tuition.

KCC reserves the right to change tuition and incidental fees without notice.
