Michael Thompson
Mike Thompson has quite an eclectic background. In his early career he was a charter pilot and flight instructor. He then spent eight years in U.S. Coast Guard aviation. After leaving active duty, he worked as an aircraft mechanic and then as a community college teacher. More recently, Mike was an active instructional designer both nationally and internationally for eight years before he took the position of interim dean of curriculum at Mott Community College in Flint, Mich. Mike came onboard at KCC as the director of Instructional Technology and Faculty Development in June of 2007.
