1: method of harvesting or using a resource so that the resource is not depleted or permanently damaged. 2: meeting the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Please join the students, faculty and staff of Kankakee Community College for events and discussions about the environment and living a sustainable existence. All events will be held on campus.



As part of its second annual "Sustainability Week,"
Presentations are planned throughout the day, and lunch will be prepared by Chef Guia Hoffman of the Greenhouse Bed and Breakfast. The cost is $30 per person, $20 for students with valid IDs, and includes lunch.
