Prospective Students
To help meet your educational expenses, Kankakee Community College is pleased to offer the services of FACTS a nelent company. FACTS is a convenient budget plan for managing tuition and fees.
This is NOT a loan program; therefore, you have no debt, there is no interest or finance charges, and there is no credit check. This plan is a helpful way to cover your expenses for the year. You may pay tuition and lab fees in your payment plan.
The only cost to budget monthly payments through FACTS is a $25.00 (per semester) non-refundable enrollment fee.
With FACTS there are no monthly checks to mail or visits to the College's cashier window. Automated Bank Payments (ACH) transactions are made between FACTS and your financial institution. They will be deducted from your checking or savings account (or whomever will accept this payment responsibility).
FACTS also offers: 1) a credit card option for making monthly payments and 2) an online full payment option; the payment is deducted immediately and a $2.50 non-refundable fee is assessed.
Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the payment plan by viewing the
brochure (English 177kb PDF)
brochure (Spanish 191kb PDF).
Using FACTS is simple. Enrollment is on-line using e-Cashier. Simply connect to the e-Cashier web site by clicking on the eCashier logo below and follow the on-line enrollment process. You will see the FACTS Agreement, Payment Schedule and Budget Worksheet. You will provide your name, social security number, your address and account information for the person (yourself or someone else) accepting responsibility for making the payments each month. View your balance at KCConnect.
We are not allowed to discuss amounts over the phone due to FERPA.
This is a very "user friendly" process with only a few steps to complete. On-line help is available to walk you through the steps. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to verify your enrollment.
If you wish further information you may visit the FACTS web site at http://www.factsmgt.com/ or call them at (800) 609-8056. You may also call the College for further application questions at (815) 802-8140.
