Health Careers Exploration Camp

Find out if a career in health care is right for you. KCC's Health Careers Exploration Camp is a collaboration between KCC and Riverside HealthCare to introduce high school students to careers in health-related fields.

This unique program takes place at Riverside HealthCare during the summer where you will job shadow health professionals to learn about their work and gain valuable hands-on experience. After the camp, participants will be invited to attend field trips, seminars and workshops throughout the school year.

To participate you must be about to enter your junior or senior year of high school and be interested in a health career field. Some health career examples include, but are not limited to, pre-med, nursing, obstetrics, pediatrics, radiography, and respiratory therapy.

The Health Careers Exploration camp will be offered in summer 2008.

To apply, contact Monica Quinlan at mquinlan@kcc.edu.
