First-time Personal Fitness students must complete an assessment and orientation before using the Fitness Center. Schedule yours by calling 815-802-8610. Sessions typically begin about a week before the semester.

Students must start their Fitness Center workouts within the first week of the semester to stay enrolled.

During the 60-minute orientation, staff record basic measurements, review resting heart rate and body composition, provide a facility and locker-room tour, and explain how to use the 21 Life Fitness cable-assisted machines.

The orientation counts toward the student’s Fitness Center grade.
