The Agriculture curriculum is designed to satisfy the basic lower division requirements for agriculture majors at most senior institutions. If you have chosen a transfer institution, consult them to make course selections. Students enrolling in this curriculum are urged to meet with an advisor at the senior institution to review course selections and transfer plans.

Learn more about the Agriculture & Horticulture Program at KCC.

This program has the General Education Core Curriculum built in. It is part of the Illinois Articulation Initiative, and accepted at more than 50 private and public colleges. So, you won't have a problem transferring to participating colleges and universities. To choose the classes which are part of GECC and IAI, talk to an advisor at KCC.

If you already know which college you want to go to, you should also talk to someone there. Some colleges have selective admissions, so find out what you need to do and follow their steps.
